* Marrakech Escapade

Day 1 – Agadir → Marrakech & Night in the Medina


After Surf Departure: Leave Agadir early (around 13-14 pm). The drive to Marrakech takes ~3.5–4 hours across the Atlas foothills.
Arrival in Marrakech: Check into a charming hostel/riad in the Medina—cozy rooms, rooftop terrace, and that traditional Moroccan vibe.
Evening Walk: Start with a gentle wander through the souks—spices, carpets, artisan leather, and colorful lamps everywhere.
Night Magic: Head to Jemaa el-Fnaa square as the sun goes down. At night, it turns into a buzzing world of storytellers, snake charmers, food stalls, and live music. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner from one of the rooftop restaurants overlooking the square for the best view of the chaos below.

Day 2 – Marrakech Highlights

Morning Exploration: Back in the city, dive into the highlights Koutoubia Mosque (icon of Marrakech, seen from almost everywhere) Bahia Palace with its intricate mosaics, beautiful interiors of Madrasa Ben Youseff, amazing outdoors of El Badi and tranquil courtyards Saadian Tombs, resting place of a 16th-century dynasty, hidden for centuries Lunch: Try a fresh tagine or couscous in a shaded riad garden.
Afternoon Highlights: Stroll through the Majorelle Garden & Yves Saint Laurent Museum a blue oasis of exotic plants and design, explore the Medina alleys, picking up last-minute souvenirs
Evening Return to Agadir : Depart Marrakech early evening for the drive back to Agadir

How is surfing in Morocco IN APRIL ?

Is a top-notch. You can expect stil 1-1.5m waves. Welcome to clear no wind regular sandy banks and to consistent point breaks.

Temperature of the water is about 16-18 C. Temperature of the air 20-26 C in the shadow. It is a perfect sunny wavy time in the warmest time of Moroccan surfing season.

ABOUT TAGHAZOUT / TAMRAGHT

A heart of Moroccan surfing only 30km from Agadir. A place know wolrdwide for legendary Anchor Point but in reality amazing with many different surf breaks starting from Agadir through Anza, KM 11, KM 12, Banana Point, Devil’s Rock, Panorama, mentioned Anchor Point, Mysteries, La Source, KM 25, Killer Point, Dessert Point, Boilers until Tamri. You will be amazed by the numbers of spot to surf. For those who are looking for non crowded line-ups surfing in Morocco will be the goal. A little surfing village with 100% moroccan vibe on the top. A trip to Imsouane (another legendary surf spot with the second longest right and a trip to wild Paradise Valley will also be an amazing experience. Moreover a visit to the traditional souk in Agadir.

If you have never been to Africa Morocco will offer you this special strong African vibe. You will be overwhelmed by colors, tastes, music, shapes. smells and sounds. Morocco is a real adventure.

What are the best flights?

All flights departing to Agadir. Check the direct flight connections from your capital town. For sure it’s worth it to check Air Maroc as the national Airline company. There might be also more connections operated also by cheap airlines (Wizz Air, Ryanair) as Agadir is getting more popular destination year by year.

If you want to travel across the country and visit more you might also check flights to Marakesh. Then find a cheap bus between Marakesh and Agadir. A private taxi is a cost of aproximately 160 EUR one way.

CANCELATION POLICY

• Deposit (non-refundable): This part of your payment — €299 — is non-refundable. This secures your spot and covers fixed booking/admin costs. No matter if you pay it in instalments or at once this part stay the same. After 10 January we accept only one time payments upfront.

• Balance (refundable): The remaining amount is refundable. In case if sudden unexpected difficulties occur and the participant can not travel Girl on the Wave will postpone it to a possible date free of charge.
