Luxury Accommodation
Our surf villa is a newly built, high-tech boutique property spread over three floors. It features 5 en-suite double/twin rooms with private bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and dining area, a ground-floor space with a yoga terrace, a large net corner filled with pillows for lounging and an inspiring surf workshop area. Can be effectively used by remote workers as well.
The villa also boasts a private garden with a pool and electric grill, as well as a large rooftop equipped with a jacuzzi and stunning panoramic views of the cliffs and ocean.
We have placed our project in the new beach front location as it’s one of the most beautiful quarters of Ericeira just in front of famous coast of Coxos, diverse beaches, surf spots and long cliffs hiking trails. The house is also in a proximity of some local Ribamar bars and shops and it’s 10 min uber drive to the old town or Ericeira. For more relaxation, a cosy sandy beach for swimming is nearby, perfect for leisure, especially in summer.

Our surfing villa is located just steps from the ocean in the Ribamar area of Ericeira, next to Coxos Beach. Coxos is one of the most famous surf spots in Portugal, drawing top surfers to enjoy its powerful waves, created by swells from deep water breaking over a series of rocky shelves. Watching surfers catch waves at Coxos is a breathtaking experience.

Our private chef provides the finest menu as a private catering service. You will be welcomed with a balanced nutritional diet fitting your food preferences. Pescatarian, vegetarian or vegan, having food intolerances or allergies the chef will take proper care of that as well. • Balance (refundable): The remaining amount is refundable. In case if sudden unexpected difficulties occur and the participant can not travel Girl on the Wave will postpone it to a possible date free of charge

About Surf Lessons
Join us for expert surf coaching complemented by daily yoga sessions, additional skate practice, and a comprehensive surf workshop plan that includes video analysis 🎥. You’ll be surrounded by an amazing group of girls, all staying in a stunning beach front boutique-luxury villa above 📍Coxos, one of the most famous surfing spots in Europe.
Surf lessons are executed in Matadouro Beach. Tiago “Saca” Pires the founder of Tiago Pires Surf School is a pro surfer who was the first male Portuguese to qualify for the WSL Elite Tour. Best quality of surfing and teaching with excellent surf coaches and individual approach is guaranteed.

About Me
My name is Margherita Iganska, I come from Poland and I am a founder of Girl on the Wave surf project based in Ericeira, Portugal since 2018. I’ve been catching waves since 2014 transforming a dedicated surfing into surf camp providing in Portugal and other parts of the world.
I’ve been surfing in Portugal, Spain, France, Morocco, Sri Lanka, Puerto Rico, Tahiti, Costa Rica and Panama. And I am always open to discover more. This year I am running Girl on the Wave retreats in Portugal (including Azores and Madeira), Morocco and Costa Rica.
My work is focused on creating a worldwide living surf community by connecting Women who love surfing with proper local surf infrastructure sharing the same passion for the Ocean plus diverse perspectives and experiences in surfing. We have different backgrounds but in surfing we are all united in one.

About Girl on the Wave surf project and video analysis
It was launched in the time of WSL QS Competition in Ericeira 2018 with the opening of first surf camp within the original pioneer surf learning program including theory, practice and video analysis.
The process of surf learning is deep and vaste as an Ocean and not everyone struggles with the same. That’s why individual approach (even in group lessons) with a personal video analysis is the crutial part of the program. The goal is to avoid repeating the same mistakes very hard to unlearn.
Girl on the Wave practise of different levels students evidently show that the right progress always comes faster if people get an opportunity to analyse their surfing steps in the real time. Not only on intermediate or advanced but also on the beginner level.
The main purpose of the project is to support all surfers joining for a surf camp or an individual practise and to help them gain a satisfying progress in surfing and to fulfill their surfing dreams.
